I learned something very important in the last week. Bacon wins people. Bacon always wins and so K is a full fledged meat eater again. I thought you would all want to know. She thought you would all want to know. She asked me to tell you all that if eating bacon is wrong she don't wanna be right.
In bathroom news, it will be more than 4 days til we have our bathroom back (so dream, if you want to update your entry you can, but since you are the only one that threw out a guess you are currently in the lead).
Ever the clever man, Mr. Kaos decided to agree with me when I said we needed to rip out the sink and replace the floor while we're at it. He was hesitant at first but soon saw the wisdom of my ways. You know the wisdom of only having one working bathroom for who knows how long and having to go up a flight of stairs to use it. Wise.
Since that's really all I have for you today as other tasks are mounting up against me (woo!) I leave you with a little video bonus.

meat matters... a tale of bacon
K: I'm not gonna eat it anymore mama. We don't have to call me a vegetarian, but I am not gonna eat anymore meat. I can't deal with the guilt of all those dead animals. How do they kill them? DO they shoot them or something? I mean that is just so saaaaaddddd.
did i mention she is 5?
CK: Okay, it's your choice sweetie. Do you need a list of things that are made from animals?
K: No, I know, if it is meat it had to be killed right? Except fish, I'm okay with killing fish.
CK: That will make dinner easier, daddy and I both love fish.
K: And bacon. OH MAMA???? WHY DOES BACON HAVE TO TASTE SO GOOD?
CK: I don't think I've ever known a vegetarian who ate pigs K.
K: I know, but isn't there a way to get just the bacon without killing the pig, like bacon surgery so the pig could still be happy and I could have its bacon?

meat matters... a tale of my past
I'm going to tell you a little story from my past, back when I was mopier, wore skimpier black clothing and a lot more black eyeliner. Yes, back when I was a poetry writing, sneak outing, school skipping, cigarette smoking teenager.
I had morals, values, a need to do something, take action! And so in order to save the world (and royally piss off my father I am sure) I decided I was a vegetarian. NO MEAT. Yep. I decided that. Me.
I lasted almost a year (I think, though it could have been as little as 6 months). I'm sure my parents were very entertained, so I really appreciate that the time some cooked bacon went missing from the fridge they overlooked it and never said a word...
Eventually though I had to give up the giving up meat. It was a hot sunny California day and I was dressed all in black (duh, I was depressed and junk). My dad was getting ready to BBQ some of his amazing beef ribs for some friends and I just couldn't be kind to cows any longer.
Later that night after eating 3 amazing ribs and assorted sides I got so sick I'll never be able to forget it, but still, lesson learned I was never a vegetarian again.
Thanks dad, I'm probably going to hell because of you and your meat cooking ways...
