I really want to make a post about the debate but...

As the Kaos family lays in bed recovering from this awful little bug that we've caught (by the by Mr. Kaos thinks this came from a specific coworker of his and though he is currently traveling abroad I will track his ass down and punish him for the sickness he has cast upon our family) Mr. Kaos and I are watching yet another in a long line of Democratic debates.

We've watched most of the debates.

It's important to me to see how they behave, to hear what they have to say and to be able to roll my eyes straight into the back of my head and grit my teeth as I hear the occasional idiocy and dirty little vocal jab come about.

But tonight... well tonight it's just tough. Maybe it's that Mr. Kaos is stir crazy from being home sick for 3 days (that's right THREE DAYS home sick two of them entirely flat on his back) (no I didn't take advantage of him.... how dare you make that implication... I have self control... and besides we aren't talking about me we're talking about the debate... get your mind out of the gutter)... what was I saying?

Oh yes... maybe it's that Mr. Kaos can't stop commenting about Obama having the same bug we have or mocking HRC or the questioners (that is a very technical term.... I'm sorry if you aren't familiar with it) or maybe it's the little girl who is bouncing back and forth between COUGHING and literally whispering "blah blah blah blah blah blah" at the screen, rolling herself into my comforter until it pulls away from me, jetting off to draw a picture and then sighing with the heavy weight of a fever and not feeling well. Or maybe that I have the shortest attention span in the world today... whatever it is the debate has only been going on for 32 minutes at this point and I feel like I've been watching it for 6 years.

6 years is alot of my life to waste watching a debate. Especially since I already know who I'm voting for. Who I'm cheering for. Who I'm hoping will lead our country in a better direction.

Or maybe I am just too busy wondering if they're speaking from the same stage that Austin City Limits is filmed on... cause there was the one Austin City Limits show that just rocked my world... it was Tom Waits... we all know how much Cami and the Kaos family love Tom Waits right?

So instead of trying to say anything witty or insightful about politics or this particular debate (though I loved the way Obama knocked HRC down when the questioner asked him about her plagiarism accusations...) I will leave you with a a musical interlude....

(not from Austin City Limits)

...only it occurs to me that an interlude implies there is something on the other side of that music.. so um.

I will leave you with this.

HELP ME
if my husband doesn't go back to work soon...
if my daughter doesn't go back to school soon...
I will become a babbling moron who yells non sequiturs on the street corner at passing nothingness. Wanna watch?

Eat some garlic, Chaos fambly. I will send some healing vibes your way.

I don't talk politics, oddly. I find it personal and uncomfortable. However, feel free to ask me about my vagina any old time.

Feel better!

I'd watch .. I do anything to avoid listening to another debate .. BTW .. these are NOT debates .. no one .. noone .. is debating .. they are all just making campaign speeches/promises and frankly I am tired of it and its not even begun yet .. cant we just vote now and kick the asshat in DC back to his ranch and let him clear brush for the rest of his meaningless life .. and he can take his vacuous wife and irritating kin along with him .. oh and that feeb VP too .. and his hateful wife .. and .. well you get it I am sure ..

I love you. Nothing gave me more pleasure last night than how he made her seem petty and ridiculous by accusing hi of plagiarizing the man who assisted him in writing his speech. And the slur of boos she received when trying to defend her frivolous statements.

Oh I hope they all get well soon and leave you to do those Cami things you do!

The thing that is so stupid about that dumb bitch making plagiarizing comments is that it is also out there how SHE has done the exact same thing!
Anyway, she sucks.
Gilda wants a girl president. I told her, "I do, too - but not THAT one!"!
Anyway, I now have a cold on top of my inner ear problems. DAMMIT!
But we got a snow day.
Anyway, get well soon! Go back to work, Mr. K! Go back to school, little K!
Mama needs some breathin' room!
However, seeing you yell nonsensically at people would be priceless.

Ok, tell me your location and I will come by, you can jump in the car and I will take you to IKEA. If scooby-doo can't cure the illness, IKEA surely can.

Echinacea! EmergenC also works wonders.

My poor brain was just too tired to deal with any kind of debate yesterday. So I didn't.
I am hoping that the family Kaos is feeling better today. And that the germies will leave you all alone, for a very long time.

mie: I just realized it isn't possible for me to mail you something for your birthday before it actually occurs... I am very upset

Kiki: Echinacea, I used it for years and it did nothing for me.. maybe I should try the emergenC though... thanks.

Kim: You make me giggle too... I read your blow by blow account of your tummy issues... but from my iphone... and I was too tired to comment on my tiny keypad.

missb: OH DEAR LORD! Finally someone who knows what I need to feel better. Swedish meatballs, french fries, pillows and organization HERE WE COME.

Syb: The little one has a fever. FRICK. Mr. K went back to work around 10:30... He feels awful though... I expect he'll be heading home in the next hour or so... though if he makes it til 5 he could probably bring me Chinese Food.

BW: I want cookies. That's a cami thing I do. I eat them.

maria: hands down my FAVORITE part of the debate. He really handed it to her there.. It was such a ridiculous accusation and then when she tried to further press her point... I laughed.

daryl: i like you.

bv: Sadly I am on the back end of it. Mr. K got sick Tuesday, K Wednesay and me... 6 years ago. I'm hoping by Monday we will be a house full of healthy people

holls: Is that you honey... I can't quite make out what you're saying... oh woe is me... woe... is... me...

flutter: yeah, but I don't wanna get you sick.

123v: you know there really was a time that i was more comfortable talking about my vagina than politics... actually I still am more comfy with it.... Odd that I don't talk about it more.

Don't fret too much. Those street-corner non-sequiter screamers provide a valuable service to those of us who need a bit of free entertainment as we walk through the city.

Yes... I'd love to watch, actually.

I watched the "debate", too... I think HRC is cooked.
