heat it up...

For many of you Summer is already here, but for those of us in Oregon we've been experiencing the glory of mild 70's and 80's, more like a warm spring...

It's the lovely stuff that beautiful Portland weather is made of, but we can kiss that goodbye.

At least for a few days.

Friday is supposed to mark the first in a series of days in the 90's... Days that will not find me strolling in the sun, enjoying a bike ride, eating out doors or basking in the garden as I've been doing these last weeks...

Summer is coming and it's gonna take a lot of prisoners. I'm totally going to be one, I'm not afraid to admit that I'll be hiding in my air conditioned basement playing Wii and surfing the internet...

I'll leave the sunburn and heat stroke to my vegetable garden.

I hate the heat. We've already had days where we had to hide inside with the AC... good luck!

But wait! We could meet at the gelato place - it's cool and serves cool things. We're cool...

Be well, take care.

Thank god for pools! Otherwise my summer would be awful!

ya know, our A/C cools more than just the basement. You could have your own room! But then you would have to venture all the way to Washington. Too bad you don't have a map.

yeah, um, it's raining here. i wore a cardigan much of the day. although at high noon? i was scantily clad and went running with my half-marathon partner. i did break a sweat. but i had to WORK for that sweat!

perhaps that was too much information.
