fortune...

I'm not talking about the kind you get in a cookie. I'm talking about good fortune.

Mine.

Every once in a while something or someone will serve as a reminder that it's time to count your blessings. Time to take stock of what you have and show some appreciation.

It seems that a lot of the people we know and love are settling in for a hard time. Every where I turn outside of my own tight family circle there seems to be a problem or ten.

We're going to do what we can to help. To stand up. To be around...

But mostly I'm going to be completely thankful for what I have in this world, an amazing beautiful healthy child, a husband I love completely and am loved by greatly in return, my parents, my brother and his partner, Mr. Kaos' parents and extended family and an an entire host of friends we've been lucky enough to acquire, some old, some new, all wonderful.

OK, I'm done being sappy... what are you all staring at? Move along, go about your business before I kick you in the shin.

Could make yourself a big ol' bottle of Mrs. Butterworth with that post, buahahaha...

But hey, it's wonderful to feel that way about your life, makes you very blessed, in a secular way.

Nothing wrong with a little sap.

(We know deep down Cami's got a big ol' heart. I'm willing to take that kick in the shins, because it is true.)

Ow Cami, that bloody hurt, and I was looking at a small tap dancing spider on the wall behind you and not your sappiness. (But sappy is allowed ok. I was a little sappy today too.)
