strange love episode 009: the girl in belgium

Lilacspecs and I recorded a little podcast the other night... It was great to have her radio in from Belgium on the shortwave.

Well... we weren't really on the shortwave but Belgium is pretty far away and it seems that Skype was feeling the weight of all those miles so the playback isn't as crisp and clean as normal...

So should you still listen to the show?

YES YOU SHOULD! Cup your ears and have a listen...

see... we can have a good show with out talking about vaginas...

***
as always you can listen to the show here, download it or subscribe so that you can always be the first to know when I've released a new show of chit chatty goodness...

Next week's show is sure to be a big ol SciFi geek fest as we sit down with my brother Xithor on his 34th birthday. GO KAOS FAMILY!

Can I just say I just learned why Americans say 'period' after stuff. A period is a fullstop right? One of these. ? So Strangelove has now officially changed my life.
Period.

And I'm listening now as there were now warnings. Hi Lilacspecs. :D

One time I wore a bike helmet when I was 18 and riding to work. I was this skinny kid with big boots and no chest, and as I stopped at lights this little kid asked me, "Are you a boy or a girl?" It cracked me up.

Another time, I was cycling with Mr B and we went down this big hill and I flew over the handle bars and landed on my feet like an acrobat. Mr B wouldn't believe that I'd fallen off.
Tsk. I got no sympathy.

Mr Kaos is on form today. So funny with the chocolate miner elf.

Hehe, my dad liked the chocolate minig elf bit too. And I swear, my voice isn't usually as manly as it sounds here...I guess being up so early made my alto into a baritone yesterday morning, yeesh.

But it was fun! thanks again Kaosii!

i heard *most* of what lilacspecs had to say. that belgian airwave (cuz i think it was just one) has a lot to answer for.

the one bike accident i had would *not* have been mitigated by a helmet. unless the helmet had a cheekguard. those are hard to get.

i am really annoyed that no one covered the legality of lawn darts.

i'm getting more efficient. this week i did laundry *and* my salads-for-work! thank you podcast!!! i will remember you when i eat my salad tomorrow.
