me on a Tuesday

I should have thought this all through better...

there is too much to do and not enough time...

there certainly isn't enough time for a proper post.

even as I sit here and type this I am stretching my neck to peek into the bathroom to menace my child into brushing her teeth because we need to leave in 20 minutes and I...

I don't get to come back to the house today until the same time she does.

BECAUSE.

I volunteered to help on another field trip.

24 children walking down the street like crazy renegade artists while a handful of adults try to corral them.

I'm assured an... active time.

What are you doing today?

We you get the 'active ' award for the day. I get the 'nurse sicky one at home' award!
Cheers

This is my calling card or link"Whittereronautism"until blogger comments get themselves sorted out.

I'm going to fight off the cold I seem to have developed overnight, that is after I shovel more snow.

Guess I didn't tell about the never volunteer thing. Oh well, maybe you will learn.

I am working today. And trying to update my blog and labelling Christmas cards and doing the year end accounting for the soccer club and trying to pack for the Polar Express. Aren't you glad you asked?

I'm being sick. And wishing I was home! I think I'm staying home tomorrow.

Ha ha you volunteered!

I think I'll go home and wrap your present while I'm coughing and hacking and then send it to you. Cause I love you. And I like to share.

Checking your blog

Taking my uniforms to the drycleaners

Picking up SG from school/doing homework/giving her her dinner

Taking her to the Brownie meeting

Scoring a jug of wine during the meeting.

Picking her up from the meeting and handing off to MRs Gunfighter.

Drinking lots of the aforementioned wine while watching Boston Legal.

I can't really talk; I've been boondoggled into too many commitments myself.

{Although field trips can be fun. Maybe? I hope so...}

I'm going to take DaddyKaos's advice and pare down next year.

Lisa: My dad usually has very good advice. Unfortunately for me he is also very stubborn and I take after him so I often just go about my merry way without listening.

GF: You've got a busy day man...

Mie: Are you going to the Trader Joes?

BW: Oh yeah, send me the germs baby

Lori: I don't think I am sending out Christmas cards this year... but I am considering New Years cards...

Holly: I almost SCREAMED at kindergarteners that were not mine. nearly SCREAMED. Luckily I held it back so it could eat away at my insides and gave the kids the evil eye instead... I think I hate children.

daddy: GET RID OF THAT COLD! Do not bring it here!

Maddy: Oh I think you do deserve an award for that, caring for the sicky is soo sad.

Fighting colds too. Having burglar alarms fitted. Writing Christmas cards. Wrapping secret Santas for a kids party tomorrow, and sorting a ton of washing.

But...

I have Baileys. All will be well.

After my Baileys, I may take Holly's advice.

we don't have a TJ here, but we are going to the next best thing, the small town market with the old fashioned meat counter. I am dragging MM with me so he can help me carry. . .
AND my lovely hair maven Lisa fit me in for a cut and wax last minute so I will beau-t-ful and smooth on the table. . .

uhhh, NOT THAT!

CamiKaos said...

Flutter: AHHHHHH!

Syb: You can't be all righteous. You are just as stupid as I am when it comes to volunteering Sybil, or should I say, ROOM MOTHER.

Travis: Were you sick or were you playing hookie??? I wanna play hookie but it doesn't work that way here.

Mie: Smooth and clean for surgery is an important thing.

Jo: You have Bailey's... I have Tequila... though I was too tired for even that last night, I did take Holly's advice and go limp, but it was after I put the child to bed.

Glad it was good, even if tiring. Working with kids is so rewarding. :D
