what about bert?

If you're following along with the CamiKaos thought train lately you're probably aware that I have done the unthinkably stupid and signed on for Bert (really it's NaNoWriMo but I hate typing that so Bert it is). I'm not doing too bad. I've gotten up over 6,000 words now. I've done absolutely no editing of any kind, at all, what so ever... and I am told that is good.

However it is in my blood to delete things I have written and rewrite them ten times... and that is not good... so in an effort to continue not to edit I am also NOT reading what I write.

This helps in the not editing but it makes it very difficult for the smooth flow of the novel, however I am going to make that work for me. You see my novel is not really going to make very much sense anyway and so I'm just going with it.

But do you know I think I might actually like? SOMEONE to read it... at least in these very crazy beginning stages... that is where you... ALL OF YOU come in handy.
I'm going to publish it one little chapter at a time (and I do mean little chapters) and let it be read.

I think.

To date only one person has read any more of it than the tiny snippet I posted on the Bert site and that is my dearest, my darling... no NO NO... Not that dearest darling,
this dearest darling.

She seemed very entertained by the book I am simply calling "Fiction". Sadly though, she can not be trusted as she loves me much to much to ever dislike anything I say or do...

So that's where all of you come in. I know you have a love to hate me or hate to love me thing going on right? And you want to be literary critiques right?

Good!

So the only thing left to answer is that question over to your right. Shall I post the chapters here or should I give the book a blog of its very own? Let me know. I intent to post the tiny chapter one tomorrow either here or there... wherever there may be.

Oooh I voted already but I'm the only one that voted for posting it here. I figured it would give you a free post here this month.

Oh, cool! I'm fine with it where ever. You are brave! I can't write for the life of me.

I TOTALLY know what you mean about the no-editing thing. It's killing me. It's totally against my nature, especially if I'm going to be brave enough to post more of my own novel.

We both just have to go with it, I guess. Post wherever it's easiest for you. I'm looking forward to reading it!

Cami I love the excerpt I read, and I'm with you and Troy, not editing is weird and hard and sucky.

I think either way is fine, as long as there is a character in the book based on me.

Lindy: I'll just make up other junk to post here!

Lori: I put up the very tiny fist chapter.

Mie: You know the link gal.

Troy: The no editing is HARD hard hard. But I am hoping that posting it will allow me to at least read what I wrote.

Angel: I went with the majority... the tide could turn before tomorrow morning I guess but I gave it a blog so as to not clutter up this space.

BW: It's up babe

Sybil: You are so hot.

Jo: It's up. Is the excerpt you posted from the first story or the 2nd?

Flutter: It's up

Mr Fab: Okay. I will make it so. Actually there are a few of my blogging peeps who may make an appearance at a certain point.

All of you: Over there on the side under more with me there is a link. Or you can just go to http://camikaosfiction.blogspot.com/
