making wine wine wine...

along with our many other strange and wondrous talents we make wine...

okay to be fair I taste the wine... impose my opinion on blending... make labels... choose seals... help bottle and and eventually label and seal the wines... while Mike makes the wine with our friends A&B.

but still... wine making. Hooray right?

we've put bottling on the back burner for a while now but last week we bottled our 2003 Evil Doll Syrah and today we finally pulled together the time to bottle our 2004 Diary Pinot...

After a full day of cleaning, sterilization, draining, drying, tasting, syphoning, bottling, corking and boxing it's done... and as I sit at the table with my family finishing up dinner watching my husband as he tries to coax K into show biz servitude by forcing her to learn "The Sun Will Come Out Tomorrow" I marvel that it's done...

The wine is good folks. The man can attest to that.

Oh, and K says she won't be joining the cast of Annie anytime soon. Way to stand up to the man little one...
